Most people that come to see me want to do every fancy exercise movement under the sun. And because of how they have been living for years they even have a hard time walking properly while chewing gum. Standing on a bosu (what the fuck? Are you preparing for an earthquake or when we live in a future world where the ground is constantly unstable?), standing on one leg while curling (more pointless shit), bamboo bar chest presses (these have their place but not until you know and perform the essentials). Everything except for the basics that actually matter and get you great results, which is why they rarely see results because they are not doing the basics.
The basic movements work. Standing presses, presses, curls, chins, rows, laterals, squats etc. Point blank period end of discussion. If you want results, learn the basics, understand the things that matter like form, tension, body positioning and then put the fucking smart work in. Both in and out of the gym.
And stop fucking curling while standing on a bosu ball. Unless you like not getting results, then keep doing what you have been doing for years since it obviously works so well!
