Whenever we purchase food (or anything for that matter, television programs watched, movies, news outlet, social media etc) we are choosing who we support and who we don’t support. Consumers have a powerful voice in determining what is or is not produced when they express their wants and needs in the form of the purchases that they make in the marketplace. These purchases are the “demand” that determines the “supply”.
