“Please, don’t destroy people’s lies, their illusions, because if you destroy their illusions they will not be able to live at all; they will collapse.” – Friedrich Nietzsche

We can’t live without our illusions!

In order to live and become who we want to be, we must first acknowledge our need for change! Now change is gonna happen regardless of our effort because it is inherent to life, BUT we can sway change in a manner that is more favorable to our health IF we learn and practice healthy behaviors. The question then becomes, “Am I willing to put forth the time and energy to do so, or do I choose to live on autopilot?”

“Our comfort zone allows us to be protected, we can’t stretch, we can’t be challenged and we cannot grow. When we begin to step outside that zone we our uncomfortable, conflicted, challenged…which are all opportunities for growth. To create change, we must change” – EastWest Healing

Complaining, thinking about, and/or talking about changing (without ACTUALLY working on it) will never get you anywhere you want to be. Action will! Take the necessary steps in order to facilitate your personal growth.

You need to take your power back! Put your health and happiness back into your own hands where it belongs. Stop relying on others to do it for you and stop shifting blame. No one is going to do the work for you because no one can. It takes courage, patience/time, and knowledge to do this, but you are capable!

We must LEARN how to become healthier. Take action now! Pick up a new book! Go to a seminar/class! Come in for a consultation! Find others who are living how you want to live and doing what you want to do and ASK QUESTIONS ! Stop doing the same old same old that got you into this state of health, or situation(s), that you don’t want to be in. Stop saying you don’t have time! You do have time, you just choose do other things with your time. Make yourself a priority NOW!

“The only way that we can live, is if we grow. The only way that we can grow is if we change. The only way that we can change is if we learn. The only way we can learn is if we are exposed. And the only way that we can become exposed is if we throw ourselves out into the open. Do it. Throw yourself.” – C. JoyBell C.

“…As bleak as it sounds, he’s right. People will not find anything worth living for without them. They live because of the illusions; the illusions keep on giving them hope. They live in the tomorrow which never comes. They live in their ambitions which are never fulfilled; but whether fulfilled or not, through those ambitions and desires and illusions and expectations and hopes they can drag their lives up to their graves. If you destroy their illusions, they may simply drop dead here and now because then there would be nopoint in living.
The real world is unforgiving. Events occur over which we have little control, other people ignore our feelings in their quest to get what they need, time runs out before we can accomplish what we had wanted. If we ever stopped to look at the present and future in a completely objective manner, we would despair. Fortunately we develop a habit of dreaming early on. In this other mental world we inhabit, the future is full of rosy possibilities. Our culture stimulates these fantasies with constant images and stories of marvelous occurrences and happy romances.

The problem is, these images and fantasies exist only in our minds and on screen. They are not enough. We crave the real thing.”

“When I say ‘illusions’ I’m talking primarily about the belief that any of this is important or relevant. Nothing is as certain as the fact that human beings require their existence to be justified. Without this justification, we could not go on living as we have all these years. Though our existence may be futile or absurd or painful makes no difference as to whether or not it is justified to us.”[1]
