A common question I get from clients and people messaging me is that they need to exercise more to get better results. For most, more is not better. Less is more!, and better is even better.
It is better to train smarter with effort and consistency on the days you do train, keeping rest periods relatively short and workouts hard and intense than to train with less than stellar effort or even with stellar effort while training 5-7 days a week.
Remember, training is important for health and results but depending on how stressed (and how you are handling/responding to the stressors) more stress from training could be the straw that breaks the camels back. Nutrition, lifestyle, mindset and what you do when you are outside of the gym to recover will yield much better, long lasting results, and in a healthy manner.
